OK, A D-party Congress critter is (according to a house ethics committee) guilty of taking Federal funds and using them for her personal use.
If true that is indeed criminal and worthy of punishment.
Gee ... I think I have heard of some R-party folks, in particular one who wears far too much orange bronzer, doing the same.
Based on anecdotal evidence it appears that resurrection of The Draft is a serious issue in retirement homes.
Older people (who have experienced eras in which the draft was active) seem to be becoming quite fearful that their grand and great-grand children will be swept into trump/hegseth wars.
But there is no sign that the D party recognizes the draft as an issue at all, much less how it could quite persuasive among older people (a demographic that tends to vote.)
It looks like here in California that the D-party is digging in on its plan to gift the governorship to a republican.
A bunch of D candidates need to drop out - TODAY.
But "identity politics" is, as usual, causing the D-party candidates to think in party-destructive, unity-destructive tribal or racial terms rather than asking what is good for everyone.
