A tiled path leads to a clearing with a bench drenched in warm sunlight from a blue-grey sky. Our #silentsunday was spent on a mountain trail half an hour from our home. About 400-500m elevation along such a trail. And we didn't meet anybody.

View down into a large, almost featureless alpine post-glacial valley without any vegetation other than grasses. The first sun of the day is illuminating some of the large slopes on the right hand side. The much steeper, almost vertical rocky cliffs on the left are still in the blueish shade, waterfalls running down every kilometer or so. The bottom of the valley is a deep and narrow canyon.
