Got some work to do this weekend, pretty sure the EPROM on the custom SNES cart I made is bad and I'm gonna have to replace the 27C322 with a "new" one. Even decided to buy a decent EPROM eraser, so once that comes in I'll get the old ROM desoldered, program the replacement, and get that installed into this cart.

New speakers installed, got the consoles hooked up to the SCART switch and everything wired up. The new speakers sound great, nothing caught fire, and everything works. Cleanup successful.

A JVC PVM sitting between two large-ish speakers on top of a printer cart. The shelf below has a SNES sitting beside a smol MiSTer FPGA. Beside that is a charging PS1 controller and a SCART switch. The bottom shelf holds a PS1 console in a clear acrylic case, an NES in a clear acrylic case, and another MiSTer that's actually hooked up.

Went ahead and resoldered the pins connecting the EPROM to the cart as it looked like I had rushed slightly when putting everything together. Got the SNES hooked up to the TV and after standard cartridge stuff the game fired right up! Looks like I can put the programmer away for the time being.

This weekend went from programming EPROMs to playing Final Fantasy 6. Not a bad way to end things overall. It also means I get to keep my cache of 27C322s for other custom carts. However, it looks great and gets to go back up on the shelf.

Tracked down the programmer and the TL866 adapter that I'll need to program the 27C322 with. Even found a few 27C322 EPROMs on the soldering workbench which means everything should be good to go for getting this custom cart back in good working order.

So far, so good. Getting ready to tackle the Phantom Forest in FF6 (about 4.5 hours in) and everything is proceeding smoothly. No issues with SRAM or the EPROM. Also, FF6 is so very, very good...

Hrmm, seems like I need to check a few things out about the PCB as I have somehow lost all of my saves on that cart. However, I also feel like absolute crap which means I'm moving over to the SD2SNES and starting over. I'm thinking about streaming FF6 and just chilling after work because _reasons_.
