Whelp, these just emerged from my oven... #sourdough #localflour #ryepower

Made another loaf of #sourdough bread this morning. I have seldom tried it but the wife loves the stuff.
To many carbs in bread so I avoid it.
I did try a small piece of the crust. Had good flavor.

A boule of freshly made sourdough bread cooling on a dinner plate. The bread is nice and toasty brown with 3 slashes on top.

a boule of unbaked bread sitting on parchment paper waiting while the oven warms up. It was 5 gashes in the top and is lightly dusted with flour.
The bread after being backed. Wife got first lick. OK that is a joke we share from when we had two cats. They would fight over who got first lick of the can of car food int eh morning. It is rye and is a nice brown with a hard crust.
