The Bombing of Guernica happened today in 1937. It was a new and horrible cooperation between fascist states (Francoist Spain, Nazi Germany, and Fascist Italy) to bomb civilians and ultimately lay the blame for the mass casualties on "guerrillas”, “terrorists”... in this case “Reds”.
