I believe this is a mountain ash, a species of eucalypt that grows up to 100m tall. #straya

@drbruced@aus.socialIt’s a bit of an odd time to come to Falls Creek - post ski season but too early for summer tourists. High Plains Road is closed. Turns out to be great for hiking if you want the place to yourself. A bit chilly but brilliant when we could get some shelter from the wind. #straya #highplains
