Och jag fattar att man kanske inte ska generalisera för mycket utifrån det här, men det tvingar fram en svår fråga för mig. Om Josef var den enda som kunde sköta Jakobs begravning, om Moses var den enda som kunde sköta Josefs, om Gud var den enda som kunde sköta Moses begravning, verkar vår text komma med budskapet att vi inte begraver de som är värdigare än oss själva, vilket blir en omöjlig princip att upprätthålla i ett begravningssällskap.
