Die Sonne steht am goldroten Himmel tief ganz rechts. Das Meer rollt langsam wieder an, die Flut ist am steigen. Ein Fischer steht am spiegelnden Sandstrand und hat seine Rute ausgeworfen.

Der Horizont ist rostrot. Die Sonne beginnt langsam im Meer zu versinken. Im Vordergrund sieht man die Silhouetten von Menschen im Gegenlicht, welche den Sonnenuntergang bewundern.

An at first pretty uneventful #Bochum, Germany, #sunset today - but with a funny "finale": the first picture is a wider view with a bit of green, followed by three super-close-ups covering the last 3 seconds of the Sun disappearing behind the horizon in very turbulent air. With a laterally separated #GreenSegment at the very end!

Funny green effects during a particularly clear #sunset in Bochum, Germany, on 9 July: the Sun disappeared behind a horizontal cloud bank about 7 arc minutes above the true horizon, the image sequence spans 3 seconds.
