2026 seems to be the year of ipv6. For the first time, an access problem was caused by a faulty ipv4 path, while the ipv6 one worked perfectly. I assume this is the reason it is not fixed by T-Mobile.
And how I know it? Guess who failed to set up ipv6 on his LAN properly ...

This morning I did a full backup of /home, reformatted that partition on the laptop as btrfs, and restored. Apart from nearly forgetting to update fstab with the new UUID it went seamlessly, although took a couple of hours.
Anyway I now have all the inodes I could ever want, as well as all the other btrfs goodness.
