I had hoped I would be able to use my Boox tablet for feedback, but Word is pretty much useless with a pen – at least on an eInk display. I’ll be in the middle of writing a word, and suddenly half of the word is in a different location than where I started writing it (and where it was being written). I don’t want to use paper for this stuff, but computers are generally awful and inflexible and become exceedingly slow to use if you want to offer feedback in more than one format. Sigh.

Maybe it’s the craziness of the world, but I’ve been dreaming of still life painting. I keep imagining spending my days arranging and rearranging small objects on a tabletop, then drawing or painting them. Nothing much: cups and bottles, flowers and fruit. Just the idea of it calms and brings me joy.

@… You certainly can run Signal and Proton Mail, web browsing, and VPN on Linux. Don't know about PlexAmp, Prologue, and Libby (I am skeptical about Libby, unless it can be done thru a browser). I have Linux Mint on an old Surface Pro, which can function as a tablet.
