I mailed a paper tax return from NJ to Kansas City via Priority Mail on 3/30 at the post office counter. It got to the KC Distribution Center on 4/2, but wasn’t delivered until today. 12 days for Priority Mail.

Companies are going to get refunds for tariffs they already raised prices to pay for in a country that teaches everyone as kids that it is justified to start shooting people if taxes on our breakfast beverages are too high. I filed my taxes on April 2. I initiated a pre-authorized payment on April 3. Only today did I receive notice that the withdrawal would be made on April 14.
So in case you're wondering how long it takes the CRA to take your money, it's about 10 days. 🤷‍♂️
