its like an extremely rusty giant iron needle plunged almost eye deep into grey sedimentary coastal rock. gets covered in sea every now and then so there is stringy sea weed, mostly white, but some green.

View of a high alpine section of a glacial valley approx. 1 km from the current glacier tongue (a fragment of it is visible in the background). Rocks of many different colors and traces of glacial activity and heavy erosion are forming an chaotic looking landscape. Harsh shadows are emphasizing the various features. The plain blue sky gives this alien looking landscape an extra abstract element.
