I was going to buy last-minute tickets to a London show, but I went to the "view from my seat" site, found the location I had in my basket, and there was a photo of the back of a tall woman, completely blocking the view of the stage, with a rant from a shorter person. I'm six foot five, and I put the tickets back out of shame. I can't live with the sighs and tutting. #theatre

Went to Santa Cruz Shakespeare this evening and saw their current production of Midsummers Night Dream.
Like many of us, I've seen it many, many times, so I thought "I will be bored".
But no. It was spectacular and roll-in-the-aisles funny.
Well worth seeing!! (As are the other shows in this summer's season.)
