Just finished reading @alvartheo.bsky.social@bsky.brid.gy's novel Benothinged all in one day. The protagonist is a mourning British ace enby with autism and depression and the story gets way dark with all the problems one might face with all those things, but it gets it, too. Really gets how hard it can be and takes you there and asks, "OK, what now?" And it does it all with a horror twist.
I bought it as a ebook from the publisher's site months ago, knowing my bookclub was reading it this month. I wish I could tell you all where to get your copy, but the publisher's site closed. It's worth the effort to find it on ebay or if you're in the UK, you might be able to find it in the shops.
