We're halfway through on the transfer 457GB of 933. It's been pretty steady! Now down to "about 3hrs” #tech #storage #backup #transfer #archive

a few weeks back I mentioned I was looking for advice on large backups/archiving.
I ended up getting a 12TB ST12000N model Seagate Ironwolf HDD. It was $CAD359.
Currently clearing off the first of a mitful of SSDs of various sizes. This one is 933GB. It has various video files from up to 10 years ago.
est: 6hr completion.
