Can they be trusted to get/do anything right?
The SSL certificate of Transport Canberra's real-time feeds is currently expired. This has resulted in an outage of the MyWay real-time data feed, impacting the availability of real-time data across Transport Canberra bus and light rail services.

It just annoys me that the implied basis of this story is that there are no other options than air or road/car.
Even though a railway has gone through Castlegar for over 100 years and there also used to be regular Greyhound bus service up until about 20 years ago.

I wonder how many teenage lives could be saved (along with hundreds if not thousands of dollars in travel costs) if Alberta and Canada had a functioning bus/rail intercity public transport system.
But let's not do that... it might upset some car company lobbyist. Best to put 17 year-olds on icy Alberta highways at night after hockey practice.
