In der Steiermark sind im Vorjahr 19 Seniorinnen und Senioren bei Verkehrsunfällen tödlich verletzt worden. Die höchste Zahl der betrifft Pkw-Insassen. Der Verkehrsclub Österreich schlägt ein Gratis-Klimaticket vor, wenn dafür der Führerschein abgegeben wird.
