Will Venezuela try to quickly procure #RussiaUkraineWar inspired military drone materiel (ie. cheap, numerous) beforehand to use in defense... and is the American war machine, particularly the Navy, ready for that?
Don't be too surprised if at the start of things Venezuela pulls off some surprisingly destructive actions not unlike Argentina vs UK in the Falklands with French exocets.

@chris@mstdn.chrisalemany.caLooks like Zelensky is preparing his people for the possible loss of the USA as a direct ally and supplier, at least in the short term. Though I would be very surprised if the USA stopped allowing NATO, EU or other partners to buy US made weapons for Ukraine.
The EU and NATO need to get their heads out of their butts, including Canada, and start working to replace US defense manufacturing capacity.
How about Canada re-tooling those closed US car plants with weapons for Ukraine. I am sure that the workers there would be willing, and proud, to do it!

Highly recommend Canadians watch this.
My only complaint and comment completely selfishly, is the absence of Canada 🇨🇦 in the discussion. I have to say I am feeling more than a little apprehensive, even isolated. I know Canada is not exactly pulling its weight and won’t be a major player in whatever Europe needs to do to secure itself in a post-NATO reality.
But I am definitely left wondering and more than a little worried…. What the heck is Canada going to do?
We border Greenland. We are deeply connected to Ukraine socially. We have a force in Latvia.
