a mutant wild flower i found the other day. its stem is ribbon shaped instead of cylindrical. idk what flower it is tho.
edit: Purple toadflax, Linaria purpurea

looking down from the top end of stalk. it has rough looking purple flower buds growing out of the ribbon stalk. you can see what it is supposed to look like in the blurry background. could not ID it tho. i am not an expert. i usually just check nativewildflowers.co.uk or something. could not find a match.

lots of aphids, some of them winged, under yellow wildflower buds. i was gonna do a hash tag doorsday with a photo from over a month ago but its a bit meh. maybe i will or maybe next week. well anyway it toot this instead... for now
