So Wisconsin isn't allowed to enforce laws that ban gambling in the state?
"Last week, the #Wisconsin Department of Justice announced lawsuits against #Kalshi, Robinhood, Coinbase, #Polymarket and Crypto.com for allegedly facilitating illegal sports betting on their platforms. A lawsuit filed Wednesday by the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission, or CFTC, in response to those lawsuits alleges Wisconsin is attempting to interfere with “federally regulated markets.”"

There's more chaos in the Wisconsin Gubernatorial Primary!

Anyone care to point out the maddening car-brained error here?

In my neighborhood I’ve only seen Hong signs. Here’s mine and another a block away. There is another about 5 blocks away. Not seeing any for the other six candidates yet. (Granted, I’ve not been out much in the past two weeks.)

I saw a bunch more Hong signs today. Two Kelda Roys signs (never seen any before) and still have not seen a Rodriguez sign.

Today's bike ride to work sucked. Wearing a respirator for 30 minutes isn't very comfortable. I had to adjust it a few times and it was much worse breathing in the wildfire smoke so respirator it is.
I can only assume our climate will get worse as time goes on so I figured I might want to get used to this.

Wisconsin gubernatorial candidate Francesca Hong supports “Right to Repair”.
It wasn’t a bunch of hackers that talked to her about it. It was a farmer. Whether you’re a hacker, farmer, or just a consumer, we all suffer when companies make it difficult (or illegal) to repair the things we’ve purchased and own.

My brother was at an DNC event in #Madison yesterday and said that Hong was clearly the best candidate in attendance.
"Within the first few months of the year that Wisconsin will elect its next governor, democratic socialist Francesca Hong is leading the pack in the state's most prominent public poll and running a campaign at a moment she’s said “may be the only time for a candidate like me to run statewide.”"

Wisconsin Gubernatorial candidate Francesca Hong (who ran a small business) had racked up credit card debt and the media is trying to turn it into this huge story but nearly every comment calls her “relatable”, points out she’s not some wealthy person running for office, and says “Yeah, a working class person is in debt. She’s one of us.”
(Not linking to any specific story but it’s all over the news cycle right now.)
A $2.33/hr tipped minimum wage is pretty ridiculous.
"In addition to raising Wisconsin’s minimum hourly wage, the report also argues in favor of eliminating Wisconsin’s separate minimum wage for tipped workers. In Wisconsin, businesses have to pay tipped workers at least $2.33 an hour. However, if an employee doesn’t make at least $7.25 an hour from wages and tips combined, the employer is required to make up the difference."

After reading ...
"Chancellor Katherine Frank says the name change was long overdue. She adds the ABCs of Polytechnic are applied learning, business and industry partnership and career-focused."
... I am still not completely sure what the difference is between a university and a polytechnic university.
In a world were high schoolers aren't sure if college is right for them, I dig experimentation, though.
