Wieso macht denn #Wordpress neuerdings um ein Emoji noch ein Broken Image, das gar nicht existiert?

Ich arbeite nun schon eine ganze Zeit mit dem WordPress.com-Connector von Claude. Es st frustrierend, wie oft und regelmäßig die Verbindung zwischen Anthropic und Wordpress zusammen kracht. Professionell kann man das nicht nutzen. Unzuverlässig #Fail #Wordpress

For years, whenever I'd share links to my Wordpress posts on social media the preview image would be seemingly pulled at random, usually ignoring the first image. Finally fixed it yesterday by installing a plugin called "Open Graph and Twitter Card Tags", then checking the box that says,"First image from the post/page content" in the settings. I'm sure there are better ways to fix but it worked for me. It can only be activated by installing the 'AI' plugin and then a connector plugin for a platform (OpenAI, Gemini) to talk to it.
If you don't install the 'AI' plugin, nothing changes.

Das Ergebnis des heutigen Wahnsinns-Experiments: Das Blog steht noch! Also… das meiste davon. Sagen wir mal so: Die Startseite atmet, drei Plugins weinen leise im Hintergrund und das Theme hat leichte Identitätsprobleme.

As Wordpress releases their new version with special AI features, I'm feeling pretty glad and smug that I moved off of that platform to use a static site generator when CEO Matt Mullenweg was going mad and suing everyone and their Blocks editor was getting more and more crappy and less and less like a simple Vim edit.
As soon as you turn off comments, and don't have adverts, there's not really much reason to generate each page on the fly anyway. What a waste of compute.
Hurray for not using Wordpress!
