So essentially whatever happens during the meeting between Trump and Zelensky it's probably all theatrics and will mean nothing, even if Trump promises security guarantuees (unlikely). Because recent history has shown Trump is totally unreliable and can change opinion in a day...

De situatie is nog steeds dat Trump niet bereid is Poetin onder druk te zetten maar alleszins bereid is, namens Poetin, Zelensky proberen te dwingen de Donbas op te geven. Een agressie oorlog moet lonen kennelijk. En daarmee is Trump dus geen "bondgenoot" van Europa.

I hope everybody understands that US troops on the ground in Ukraine is very likely complete fiction, as long as Trump is president. But Zelensky telling the press this is being discussed is simply well played 🙂
