
User Perceptions and Attitudes Toward Untraceability in Messaging Platforms
Mainstream messaging platforms offer a variety of features designed to enhance user privacy, such as disappearing messages, password-protected chats, and end-to-end encryption (E2EE), which primarily protect message contents.
