A few highlights from the Turkish-Persian section of a random carpet symbolism book I skimmed while stopped at a random library in New Jersey a couple days ago

Tree of life: one of the oldest and most universal symbols of mankind. It supports the sky, and provides a path from earth to heaven. In different cultures it is called by names such as haoma, asherak, yggdrasil, irminsu or asvattha. Thus, one often sees it in prayer rugs, as a reminder of the passage from this existence into a higher life.
Diamond or Lozenge: It has been conjectured that this omnipresent motif in Anatolian kilims is a male triangle attached to a female triangle, and thus signifies creation. There are doubtless many interpretations. A diamond surrounded by hooks is called in Turkish kirkbudatz, 'forty branches'. Among some semi-nomadic pastoral (terekme) tribes of Azerbaijan, a favourite symbol is a large diamond, signifying woman. Smaller diamonds within the large one signify a pregnant woman or her progeny. A …
Celestial creature: Recognizable because flames appear from flanks or shoulders.
Arabesque or Tendril: The basic unit of the arabesque, a favourite Islamic decorative theme, may be described as a split leaf seen in profile, called islimi in Persian. Derived from a Sassanian motif, it developed under the Abbasids in the ninth and tenth centuries, and matured under the Seljuks in the twelfth and thirteenth. It became central in Turkish and Persian carpet design only after the fifteenth century. In its fascinating fully developed form one sees interlaced lattice systems of sp…

One of the best humans I know is a disabled musician who cannot afford the materials to build a vocal booth. Please consider helping him build one so he can finish his vocals at home.
More details about the project and him are at: gofund.me/7c7c0d557

Two 3D renderings of a yellow and black isolation booth. The left image shows an exterior three-quarter view of the booth with vertical ribbed paneling on the right side, a solid yellow door on the left, and black equipment boxes at the base. The right image shows an interior front view of the same booth with a cream-colored floor, recessed ceiling, and a four-panel window or gate design, with the same black equipment visible at the base on the right side.
Three-dimensional rendering of a small interior isolation booth with cream-colored walls and a brown floor. A bright olive-yellow door with a brass knob is set into the back wall, flanked by vertical ribbed paneling in the same color. To the right of the door stand two black fan units. The scene is lit from above, casting subtle shadows and giving the space depth.
