I have the impression that Trump or people around him, don't want a deal. Because saying "A whole civilization will die tonight, never to be brought back again.", is not a good opening statement for talks... It only reinforces the feeling for Iran they are in an existential fight where no deals are possible. I also think Israel really wants to destroy Iran as much as possible so they clearly don't want a "deal".
