Following Australian accounts is a little bit like time travelling.

OK, so once again I'm the last person on the planet to learn about the good things.
I have just discovered #letterboxd, which is sort of like Goodreads/Bookwyrm for films and TV programmes.
Now if only it had ActivityPub functionality it would be amazing.

There was an advert on TV just now for the new film Hamnet.
Among the 5-star reviews and other praises for the film they included the words "Best film of the year". And then informed us "In cinemas from January 9th".
While I'm sure it's a fantastic bit of movie-making I can't help feeling that given the relevant year hasn't even started it, it's just a wee bit presumptious to say it's the best.
