'Eingefrorene Bewegung' #FotoVorschlag 'Frozen Movement'
Ah I almost didn't want to post a photo for this topic until this photo came to my mind. And it's a frozen motion even literally... right?
More about this day:

A dynamic and atmospheric winter scene unfolds in this image, capturing the raw beauty of a snowstorm. The sky is filled with swirling snowflakes, creating a dense curtain of white that partially obscures the landscape. The snowfall adds a sense of movement and energy to the scene, as the flakes dance and swirl in the wind.

In the foreground, patches of snow-covered grass and rocks are visible, their textures softened by the falling snow. The contrast between the white snow and the darker tone…

I'm sure that Tesla fee is more than covered by the passive income that's coming from operating as autonomous taxis while their owners sleep.

I know that following a hashtag is part of the Mastodon protocol itself, but since I'm in @… the majority of the time - it feels like it would be cool to:
- Offer a "follow for a week" / month option
- "We'll ask you when time's up"
mechanism (maybe the ask part is configurable? maybe the client could also just handle it when next it runs?)
I hit this time and time again for moment in time events where during the thick of it, I'm invested and interested - conferences, world news, etc - but after which there's no more signal in the hashtag and it's just detritus putting load on a server somewhere.
Ideally this is something that should be in the protocol itself, but it feels like similar to quote replies that @… could bring a better user experience in advance of adoption of something like that

”My argument is that the current structure of public conversation has the same effect on human cognition that a botnet has on a web server. It's simply exhausting you. And an exhausted mind defaults to heuristics and tribal allegiances, aka whatever position allows it to conserve the most cognitive energy.”

”What I do know is that the feeling of being overwhelmed, of never being able to keep up, of having strong opinions about everything and confident understanding of nothing, is n…

I just came across "On encule le monde" by Les Guignols.
"We are the world" will never be the same anymore.

Puppets of American Politicians and CEOs singing:

Here comes a time
When we need a real change
When the world must come together at one
There are people dying
And we don't care about
We try to make a better world for me (And me)

We fuck the world (We fuck the world)
We fuck the children (We fuck the children)
We fuck the world, the forest and the sea so let us doing

We make our own business
Just for the USA
And we swear destroying your planet to make money

There are people dying
And we don'…
