so pending shipments of some items won’t be sent,
according to a U.S. official who spoke on condition of anonymity to provide information that has not yet been made public.

The Defense Department did not provide details on what specific weapons were being held back.

In the data archive there are detailed drawings of many attractions of the park. In order not to consider them all separately - we offer you a detailed study of the flagship attraction Frozen.

1. We had another slew of memory errors caught in the last hour.
2. I initiated an emergency reboot to see if that cleared them.
3. It failed on boot on first attempt, kernel panic.
4. After a reset it came up, including running the user-visible VMs (river etc), but is still logging a slew of memory errors.
5. So I've now shutdown the VMs again.
We'll be poking the service provider to s…

The Soviet way with words 😂
(from en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Trofim)

In the article, Pravda correspondent Vitaly Fedorovich described his first impression of the meeting with Lysenko:

"If you judge a person by first impression, then this Lysenko will leave you with a feeling of toothache - God bless him, he is a sad-looking person. And he is stingy with his words, and insignificant in face - all I remember is his gloomy eye, crawling along the ground with such an air as if, at least, he was going to kill someone."

When was the first middle-finger used to denote contempt in a (mainstream) film? I don't know but there is an instance of it in Sergio Leone's 1971 Giù la testa (Duck, You Sucker / A Fistful of Dynamite).
This was perpetrated by Rod Steiger. In this film he and James Coburn also make a solid case that Keanu Reeves' accent in Bram Stoker's Dracula was not even close to being the worst in film history.
