The idea that having a benevolent dictator forever is actually a good idea? That’s a nonsense thought rooted in the feeling that all this human stuff •isn’t even a real problem•: mushy nonsense, female-coded and thus low-status, can’t we just build good technology all day and not think about people.

i have not looked into it, but there has to be something fishy about those drones flying in the sky with lights as a replacement for fireworks and doing cool symbols. they're too good to be true. something about it gotta be wrong that's just always the case

A paradox I think about:
If advertising doesn’t work - why is that the business model nearly every internet business defaults to?
If advertising online is so lucrative, why are marketing departments all over failing to meet targets and struggling to show any results?
Everything is ads and none of it is working. And I’m just a lone marketer screaming in this forest of nonsense hoping some tree falls and hears me.
