Here in beautiful Belle Ewart the temp is -22°C, feeling like -31°C with the wind. But it's a dry cold....
Out west they are struggling with double digit temperatures on the plus side. Edmonton's winter festival organizers are making snow, protecting ice blocks and praying for plunging temps to save their skating rink. The unseasonable weather has impacted events throughput Alberta. The Banff and Lake Louise ice carving festival, Art of Ice, had to take down sculptures because they weren't safe. They were similarly impacted last year. The World’s Longest Hockey Game (WLHG) got underway last Thursday and players are dealing with slushy conditions while golf driving ranges are packed with eager duffers.
I'd gladly make the sacrifice and swap weather conditions with our fellow Canucks out west. It would be a burden that I'd gladly carry.

Kann sich das jemand anschauen und mir eine Zweitmeinung geben?
Bin mir nicht sicher, dass ich 1,5 Stunden Zeit für jemanden habe, der mit "I am picking up on a [problematic] vibe" ankommt und den dann nicht artikuliert.
Der als positives Beispiel für "generative AI"-Nutzung "materials used in carbon capture" (of all things) nennt.
Und dann ein "trust me, I am very good at this" einwirft, obwohl er bisher, wenn überhaupt, den gegenteili…

I'd go as far as saying everyone can learn a thing or two in regard to the "AI" Discussion from the Dr. Fatima video. Seriously watch it from start to finish if you care about the topic and / or have strong feelings about it - INCLUDING the outro and especially if you catch yourself having some kind of bias towards it before even watching it.

Apparently (I wasn’t part of the group, got the report when I arrived on the scene) there was a caravan of multiple vehicles following ICE. Several ICE vehicles cut dangerously into the caravan and forced the observers’ cars to stop. That’s when they smashed the person’s window and took them.
It sounds like multiple people got video. I hope you don’t see it, for the safety of those whose faces might appear in the video. But I hope you believe me anyway. This is all really happening.

I feel the need to stress, even though it should go without saying, that the person who was kidnapped out of their car was not obstructing or interfering. They were doing nothing illegal, and nothing wrong. They were part of a caravan following ICE at a safe distance, driving legally, not even stopping their crimes, not even slowing them down — just making sure their crimes were recorded.
