The media says they’re fleeing a wealth tax. Except, they’re not.
Nary a day has passed of late that hasn’t seen stories about the billionaires’ flight from California, lest they be subjected to a proposed wealth tax that hasn’t yet gathered the required signatures to qualify for the ballot. The fact that there is no billionaires’ flight from California hasn’t impeded the flow of such tales.

I have been using Moom (manytricks.com/moom/) for clever window management on my Mac, their licensing is fucking stupid and I am sick of filing issues to get hold of license files.
Anyone else have a similarly good tool they can recommend?

hanukkah’s grotesque aftermath

This photo shows a menorah (a nine-branched Jewish candelabrum) that has been used for Hanukkah celebrations. The menorah is made of brass with gold-colored cups for holding candles. What’s particularly striking about this image is the dramatic aftermath of use - the menorah is covered in extensive wax drippings that have accumulated and hardened in flowing, organic shapes. Good Morning #Canada
Happy #Festivus everyone. I'm looking forward to the airing of grievances and performing feats of strength later today. But we also have to celebrate National Christmas Movie Marathon Day on December 23rd. Our pickings are slim if you want to limit yourself to Canadian classics of this holiday season. Sure, virtually every #Hallmak movie is filmed in Canada, apparently with variations of a single plot, but they don't count. Here's a list of 5 Canadian films provided by CBC to get you started and you can provide a community service by suggesting other titles for your fellow Canucks. For example, Uncle Buck feels like a Christmas movie solely because of John Candy. When your list is ready, you can wrap yourself in a Hudson's Bay blanket, munch on some Nanaimo Bars, and binge watch your favourites.
