Just to repeat / recap what others have said already.
"No politics in my #OpenSource project" is a political statement. It's a statement of "I'm fine with the status quo, and I don't want to be bothered by people who are hurt because of it."
"Neutrality" doesn't make you look professional. It makes you either look ignorant or complacent.
The whole #FreeSoftware movement is a political movement. So is the idea that you can freely use, modify and redistribute software.
So you should really think where you want to stand. Do you really want to be the complacent fascist enabler, or do you want to actually try making a difference?

"After the 8-bit MOS Technology 6502 that powered the Apple II around 1980, Macs used the 16-bit (later 32-bit) Motorola 68000 around 1990, then 32-bit (later 64-bit) IBM PowerPC around 2000, later settling with Intel’s 32-bit x86 and 64-bit x86-64 around 2010.
We are in 2020, not even around 2020 anymore, and we should be able to spend an insane amount of money to buy Macs powered by ARM architecture CPUs – “finally!”, as some of those headlines online would scream."

hmm, #freesoftwareadvent - I think I'd go for 'perf' for my first one; it's a good simple way to see where your CPU time is going inside a program or the kernel; it's got about a million options for deeper stuff, but a simple 'perf top' (as root) or 'perf record' followed by 'perf report' can give you a lot of hints, especially with the -g …

Day 2 of #freesoftwareadvent I use digikam for most photo management; and also it's sibling showfoto. digikam has a load of different photo tools, from the simple colour fixes, un-distortion etc - and simple album management - all the way up to some very fancy tools. It does the download from phone or camera great. showfoto is most of the basic tools but setup generally for …
