Visitors to Amsterdam are beginning to notice it on the canals: fewer car parking spaces. The programme launched in 2019 to eliminate 7 to 10,000 parking spaces by 2025 has reached its target: 7108 - including 1647 last year.
The pdf (in Dutch) shows how the space has benefited the city: more space for people, for bicycle parking and for green spaces.
