Been looking at portfolios and CVs and Websites for people who applied for a "Creative Technologist" position.
And it's kinda disheartening to see that almost all pages and projects look very much the same.
The way that "we just focus on one dominant technology/narrative and visual language" limits people's development and horizon is depressing.

Netflix will buy some of Warner Bros. Discovery’s most valuable media portfolio for nearly $83 billion in a cash-stock deal, the two companies said Friday.

Sembcorp just made a major move in India's renewable energy space.

Przygoda z dziś: pociąg rusza, i chwilę później zauważam, że lampy za oknem przemieszczają się w niewłaściwą stronę. Przez moją głowę kolejno przelatują myśli, w ekspresowym tempie:
• Iluzja? Nie, definitywnie jedziemy przodem do mojego siedzenia.
• Czyżbym stracił orientację kierunku przed zajęciem miejsca? Nie, definitywnie jedziemy na południe.
• Czyżbym pomylił pociąg?! Odjechał chyba o właściwym czasie, jakie jest prawdopodobieństwo…

Polska logika:
Pociąg osobowy jest opóźniony 5 minut. Myślę: pewnie go zestawią na 3. tor w Kościanie, żeby przepuścić jadącego za nim IC. Ku mojemu zdziwieniu, osobowy wjeżdża normalnie, na 2. tor (przy 1. peronie).
Ale przepuszcza IC, który zjeżdża na 1. tor. IC jest teraz opóźniony 5 minut, bo czekał, aż ludzie przejdą na 2. peron. Opóźnienie prawdopodobnie byłoby mniejsze, gdyby po prostu jechał za tym osobowym.
