Headed to #BlueTeamCon tomorrow - excited to combine my powers with all the other cybersecurity defenders. Also maybe play a few games with new friends. Remember, kids, Sparkles says #sharingiscaring

Card for Oceans game with a picture of a purple and pink whale and a unicorn's horn. Flavor text "Sharing is caring!"

Google's emissions are up over 50%, Amazon builds huge data centers powered by 75% natural gas.
Remember all those posts telling us that "AIs climate impact isn't that bad" supported by some really funky math/perspective and/or numbers Sam Altman invented?
Here's the actual impact.
"AI" is a fossil fuel technology.

Today’s Sesame Street episode is brought to you by the letter X, the platform that cannot be trusted…
…and is also brought to you by the number 2, for 2-factor-authentication and the word “cybersecurity!”
Remember kids, never give an elongated muskrat access to your brand identity!

Dismantling the sawmill motor to investigate an ignition failure. Changing the spark plug didn't help. It could be the HT lead but my local small engine guru says probably the coil.
Getting to the coil requires dismantling a whole lot of stuff...

Motor with the recoil starter removed. To the left of the motor is the carburettor, below which is a red lever which operates both the fuel tap and the stop switch, which operates by shorting the coil.

Unfortunately the coil itself is inside the black cover, roughly behind the red lever...
Detail removing the carburettor, so that I remember how the return spring reconnects.
To remove the black cover, I had to take off the air cleaner, the carburettor, the exhaust, a heat shield, and loosen the fuel tank.

I've only lost one bolt down inside the motor so far!

In this picture the coil is visible just inside the opened black cover.
