bible_nouns: Bible noun phrases
A network of noun phrases (places and names) in the King James Version of the Bible. Each node is a noun phrase, and an edge exists if the noun phrases co-occur in a Bible verse. Edge weight denotes how often the two words co-occur.
This network has 1773 nodes and 9131 edges.

Rep. Mikie Sherrill, a former Navy pilot and federal prosecutor, won on the Democratic side, beating out five competitors.
New Jersey is one of two states, along with Virginia, hosting a high-stakes gubernatorial contest this year.

Traurig, wie evidenzbefreite Meinungen nicht nur im diskursiven Mainstream angekommen sind, sondern inzwischen auch zum guten Ton gehören.
Da werden Achtung von Menschenrecht und Grundgesetz als "radikale Politik" diffamiert. In wenigen Jahren dann: "nicht alles war schlecht unter Trump!"

Der Aufstieg Trumps und der diversen rechtspopulistischen Bewegungen in Europa wäre ohne die freizügige Migrationspolitik der vergangenen Jahrzehnte nicht möglich gewesen. Im Grunde erleben wir eine radikale Reaktion auf eine radikale Politik. Die Vorstellung, dass jeder auf der Welt sich überall niederlassen dürfe, war früher nur eine linke Utopie. Die Praxis in vielen westlichen Staaten ist ihr aber faktisch ziemlich nahegekommen. Das konnte auf Dauer nicht gut gehen.

Wow, the new #Mastodon 4.4.1 webinterface has some weird behaviour:
- browser back button (sometimes) yeets you to the top of the timeline, losing that precious scroll position
