It is watch day but not for me. I bought a watch for my wife (left) and my daughter (right). No special occasion and they are not super fancy or expensive. I just, you know, buy watches. 🤷

Watch with classic railway style hands and markers. In green with a green strap.
Golden colour watch with lots of small (glass) 'jewels' around the outer edge. The face is dark blue as is the strap.

Sitting on a fancy sofa in a very dim bar surrounded by a dozen tieflings as I sip NA amari and the DJ spins Camouflage and more modern knock-offs and 14-year-old me is pleased at this. Current me is pleased at how early it is.

Presenting my #CyberWeek shopping haul for 2015!
About 10 years ago, I found this brand and model socks I really like. These socks are an anti-luxury in that they are all about the value: comfortable and durable, but not fancy. I only buy these now, some in white and some in black. Through attrition, I’ve replaced everything (except thermals) with these.

Did my duty as a citizen of what is ostensibly still a democracy and voted this morning. Then rewarded myself with an extra walk for a cappuccino and a non-GF cardamom knot (for which I will pay dearly later).

I took a fancy to these in ALDI today but there was no price tag so I asked a genuinely very helpful member of staff who had a right faff to find the price. I was expecting about £20 so you could have knocked me over with a feather when she said £6.99! Sold to the lady in the ridiculously orange coat.

Feet up on a pine dining table, legs crossed at the ankle. The legs are wearing browny-pewtery fake nubuck chelsea boots with a flat corrugated sole and a strap around the rise.

Morning!
Back at the Coffee Shop. Quite busy in here today. Perhaps people were attracted in by the Christmas Tree and decorations in the windows 🎄
Didn’t fancy much food yet, so have done a pay-it-forward.
HUGE delivery of food supplies just arrived outside, which they are now unloading.
Nice to be among people instead of WFH on my own.
