Twenty-one states funneled nearly a half-billion dollars, or $491 million, of taxpayer money
to anti-abortion "crisis pregnancy center" organizations between fiscal years 2022 and 2025.
That figure does not include millions some states diverted from federal programs like "Temporary Assistance for Needy Families",
and it does not include multimillion-dollar tax credit programs launched after federal protections for abortion rights were overturned.

I saw the email about @… merging with MLH (never heard of it before today either). The collapse of legacy social media that began in 2022 has to be part of why that happened. I really liked their community behind them before they fell off of the internet.
