The diversity of corporate social responsibility (CSR) disclosure is a crucial dimension of corporate transparency, reflecting the breadth and resilience of a firm's social responsibility. The Ongoing Decline in Activity of Comet 103P/Hartley 2
We report photometric observations of Comet 103P/Hartley 2 during its 2023 apparition. Our campaign, conducted from August through December 2023, combined data from a global network of citizen astronomers coordinated by Unistellar and the Association Française d'Astronomie. We investigate the solar origin and heliospheric evolution of an intense geomagnetic storm that occurred on March 23-24, 2023. Despite multiple candidate CMEs observed between March 19-21, a weak CME detected on March 19 at 18:00 UT was identified as the cause, originating from the eruption of a longitudinal-filament channel near center of the sun. Good Morning #Canada
There is a little known reporting tool on the ##StatsCan website called Canada’s Quality of Life Hub. First proposed in 2021, and launched in 2023, it is a framework that gathers data and evidence to inform priority setting and guide decision-making in various policy areas, including the budgetary process. The Framework comprises five domains –prosperity, health, environment, society, and good governance – and two cross-cutting lenses: fairness and inclusion, and sustainability and resilience. Not enough Canadians have heard of it, and I suspect very few government policies are implemented before analyzing the impact on quality of life measurement by this tool. On a positive note, #StatsCan is looking for feedback on how to improve the hub.
