Thinking about building something like RapsberryPI (or any other SOC that can do 4K) TV Box.
Any advice would be appreciated.
It doesn't have to have TV Tuner (they don't broadcast anything worth it😉), just something probably running Linux Kodi or similar.

Finally got an external screen, but I spent by far too much time this morning on getting it connected:
First it turned out that my USB-C hub doesn't play well with 4K displays and can only handle 30 Hz on them. So I thought I'd just dust off the HDMI card for my Framework laptop, but then it wouldn't work at all.
Until I finally remembered that the second slot on the left side of the AMD Framework models doesn't do video output. 🤦

Looking to replace my fume hood webcam with something slightly less atrocious than the Logitech C920 I have in there now. Anyone have suggestions?
Requirements:
* Reasonably good video quality
* USB3 interface
* Capable of 1080p60 or better, 4k wouldn't hurt
* Has a standard (1/4 inch?) tripod thread to fit my existing mount

No i do 4k hdr w 60 klatkach chyba z 500mb szło - więc router i switcha musiałem wyskalować, żeby dało się w domu z internetu jeszcze korzystać. Ale to było przed vanlifem - pewnie się wiele zmieniło.

The awesome cable guys, who rewired my internet connection into fiber-optic, also replaced my old set-top box with a snappier android device, and now even the 4K channels work! It turns out, I still love surfing the channels, sports, news, the occasional movie, lots of catch-ups, setting reminders. I just gradually fell out of watching TV because it felt like a dial-up connection compared to the internet.

Well, shit. Guess I picked a bad day to re-case my PC and upgrade the GPU. Everything went well until I tried to update the OS, which failed while tossing a Mesa dependency error. Did some checking, and it seems to just be a Mesa issue I can't really do anything about ATM. So I'm stuck in 4K/basic graphics driver mode, with screen tearing a-plenty, till tomorrow? Hopefully? lol.
The new case looks nice at least.

Am Black Friday gibt es die besten Rabatte auf die LED Fernseher. Dadurch würde ein OLED oder MicroLED dann doppelt so viel kosten, und das finde ich nicht gerechtfertigt.
Die LED XR Fernseher von Sony ja auch alles, was man sich wünschen kann.

Absolutely beautiful. Not sure if I understood it, nor do I think I needed to to enjoy it.
The guy next to me in the cinema fell asleep in 3 minutes and slept through most of the movie, fortunately no snoring.
I have mixed feelings about 4K restoration, because while mostly it helped show off the meticulousness of the animation at times where it happened to be only near perfect, proved to be distracting.
