Ticked off one from the bucket list yesterday: Gleirsch canyon, carved out by one of the earliest tributaries of the Isar river, both with an incredibly beautiful turquoise water color. The canyon itself is one of the wildest & Tolkienesque I've ever been too, higher up parts then offering amazing views of the epic Karwendel main range... ❤️

20th Anniversary – probably
In 2004 I found myself unemployed. By some strange coincidence this morning I read a post from Ben Parfitt "Thanks for the Great Ride". It seems that just as I was looking for a new job he had found one: "my new capacity as a resource policy analyst with the Canadian Centre for Policy Alternatives, BC Office." I wasn't exactly clear on the precise date of either event, so I went looking in my filing cabinet and come across this docume…
heeyyy! Finally Friday and I'm still reviewing a couple of photos from last weeks hiking days ... I'm falling a little bit behind!
Anyways: I just wanted to share this piece of trail that we walked last weekend. It's right those paths that I really like: narrow, surrounded by green, some trees aside, along a mountain slope ... I felt really good when we walked there!
And that's why I want to share it with you as well 🙂
