So if Pixar’s Coco is for 🇲🇽 Mexico, and Disney’s Encanto is for 🇨🇴 Colombia, then Dreamworks’ Forgotten Island is for the 🇵🇭 #Philippines.
This teaser scene is chock-full of Filipino cultural references like karaoke, lechon, mouth pointing, and manananggal.

In my experience, the larger the corp the worse they are at paying small invoices. I am inclined to believe Geoff Graham over Digital Ocean.
Geoff’s pattern has been to try, twice, to resurrect CSS-Tricks on the cheap.
DO’s pattern has been to kill it, twice, and also pour money into a DHH joint.

#TuneTuesday (Aug 18)
“Didn’t I” is a very underrated 1999 song by British singer Valerie Etienne. This pop-R&B song is an upbeat romantic ballad with lovely harmonies in the chorus.

Content warning: uspol, trump

This is an interesting investigative study comparing the corruption of every U.S. President from Eisenhower to Trump 47.
It provides an objective score of what we already perceive, Trump is the most corrupt president in modern history and is comparable to the worst of the global kleptocrats like Obiang, Marcos, Putin, and Mobutu.
