Pomyślcie tylko. Ten system ma już co najmniej kilka tysięcy lat, a już wtedy przewidziano istnienie systemu metrycznego i mojej osoby, więc tak dobrano system pomiaru czasu, żebym wygodnie mógł liczyć, że w 10 minut zrobię 1 km.
