We investigate photon production from media characterized by a time-dependent chiral chemical potential $μ_5(t)$. We first consider the chiral anomaly as a small perturbation and show that $μ_5\to 2γ$ process generates non-polarized radiation, as the probabilities of producing right and left-handed photons are equal. Chiral effective potential in $4D$, $\mathcal{N}=1$ supersymmetric gauge theories
We calculate the chiral effective superpotential in $4D$ $\mathcal{N}=1$, $SU(N)$ super Yang-Mills theory coupled to chiral matter in one- and two-loop approximations. It is found that the one-loop contribution to the chiral effective potential is always finite and is expressed in terms of a specific triangle integral. We study the implications of non-invertible chiral symmetry in a four-dimensional U(1) gauge theory coupled to massless fermions with electromagnetic $SL(2,\mathbb{Z})$ duality. We consider properties of non-linear theories of a chiral 4-form gauge field $A_4$ in ten space-time dimensions with an emphasis on a subclass of these theories which are invariant under the $D = 10$ conformal symmetry.
