Numbers of rare butterfly eggs have skyrocketed in Wales after landowners let their hedgerows grow wild to help the Brown Hairstreak survive.

After a month on my NixOS KDE it was time to change gears. Heading back to Arch and spins for KDE. Cachy is impressive, but brings a lot. Too much for me. Right now Garuda Linux, with the KDE minimal iso, looks to be the 'winner'. This is very close to pure Arch, and only adds useful tools like btrfs snapshots. That one for the next month.

Just out of curiosity, can anyone explain why does #Thunderbird avoid supporting the system tray? It's such a bad experience on KDE 😔 I had to install a fork (Betterbird) to have an email client always listening for new mail without having to trip over it when I alt-tab.
