For the first time we got fruit (2!) on the Akebia quinata ('chocolate vine"). We planted a different clone last year for pollination and although the flowering time overlap is small, at least we got these.
Pleasant vanilla pulp (bitter seeds) a bit like cherimoya and relatives. Worth growing? A nice plant but hardly a viable fruit crop in Manchester.

Been playing around with openSUSE TW on a laptop for a few days and noticed the battery life was horrendous.
Apparently I forgot about installing the trusted old tlp. All is now well.
I did also notice that tuned seemed to be the default, which zypper demanded to be uninstalled in order for tlp to be installed instead. Admittedly I hardly know the difference.
