Took the front frame off to secure the little "handles" on the front of the PVM, didn't take too long and fortunately they just needed to be tightened up. I will need to clean out the interior of the PVM as it's accumulated quite a bit of dust and crap internally. It's not horrible, but it's not great either. Cleared off a spot for the PVM to live in the office as well.

If you burn fossil fuels (and have no plan to migrate to an EV & heatpump or similar), plus you buy a lot of plastic (made from fossil fuel) and acrylic/polyester clothing - well I hate to break it to you, but you cannot make up for this by being a vegan or re-posting toots from a Kindness to Animals NGO.
Those animals you want to be nice to require a clean world with a normal climate in order to survive (incidentally, so do we).

I thought commissioning a custom acrylic panel for a portable A/C hose was the last of my casement window woes
but today the latch just broke off for no reason 😐 that's ok I didn't want to reopen my window to run the A/C at all this summer 😐

The new new case came in for the NES, fits perfectly. Still waiting on the replacement screw kit to come in along with the NES Slotmaster replacement which fixes the biggest issue with the frontloader. Even better: haven't sheared off any of the screws in the case unlike the previous one.
