They took a drop ceiling out of one gallery that had the Rubens and then restored these beautiful cherubs and angel-type arches in the ceiling, [where] the paint had been flaked off and just patched up all the plaster. So yeah, that was my first museum job. After two years at the Ringling, I moved to New York City and eventually was able to start working freelance at museums and galleries there.

I can't stress enough how awesome #Immich is. I've installed other photo gallery stuff before, and this is the first time I've ever not only been happy with it, but actively impressed by the features. It all Just Works, the web interface and android app are a consistent experience, and..it's just good.
Next up, getting my wife off of Google Photos.

We’ve been making some changes to our permanent collection galleries. After a successful four-year run, all but one of the artworks on loan from the Terra Foundation for American Art’s collection have left the Georgia Museum of Art’s galleries (the John Singleton Copley is staying a bit longer). The good news is that these departures created opportunities to reinterpret our existing installations with exciting new loans and rarely displayed works from our permanent collection.
