The #roundhouse, now, at last, with electric lights (from its own solar panels).

The inside of the roundhouse; there are now three spotlights shining upwards into the conical wooden roof structure. The rafters are rough roundwood; the sarking between them is also, consciously, rough and waney edged. The lights, projected into the roof, give a warm glow to the space which is perfectly adequate for most purposes without being excessively bright.

the CNN host Dana Bash referenced the footage in an interview with Bovino,

Ob alle Schweizer*innen Storchenbeine haben? Für meine Radl-Waden waren die beheizbaren Socken noch nie geeignet. Und vielleicht ist auch das Runterschieben schuld, dass die scheißteuren Dinger dauernd kaputtgehen. Nun habe ich zwei kaputte Strümpfe zerschnitten und in zwei intakte innen Keile eingenäht. Gar nicht so leicht mit einer normalen Nähmaschine.
Zumindest die Anfahrt zur Critical Mass werde ich heute wohl überstehen ;))

Work on the approximately $26.45 million 
San Jose Creek Multipurpose Path Project in Goleta began last week.
The 3-mile path will serve as a direct link from Calle Real to Old Town businesses, and the Atascadero Creek Bikeway that also allows access to Goleta Beach Park, UC Santa Barbara and the city of Santa Barbara.
The path is set to be completed by spring 2027
