Learning day for me. Now that the Linux laptop is up and running it is time to add/remove software and tweak settings. Then see about doing restores from backups for some of my backgrounds, S/W sources and various BASH scripts.

- NotepadQQ (we use Notepad at work so I want a similar tool)
It is an older (about 8 years) laptop and the battery isn't the greatest, but…
